Known collectively as the ‘royal mushrooms’, our MyComplex offers you a therapeutic dose of medicinal mushrooms to support the demands of a modern lifestyle. We use organic Reishi spores grown and collected in China—the traditional home of red Reishi—and grown on duanwood, their native food medium. The spores are carefully cracked at low temperatures and then rolled up to 30 times to extract the active nutrients. Reishi is known as the ‘Mushroom of Immortality’ and highly regarded by ancient medicine for its powerful benefits to the liver, immune system and beyond. To Reishi, we add full-spectrum biomass of mycelium and young fruiting bodies of Cordyceps and Maitake. Cordyceps is known as the ‘Emperors mushroom’ and regarded in traditional medicine as an adaptogen to support performance and vitality. It is considered particularly supportive in cases of exhaustion, or weak kidney ‘Qi’. It is rich in cordycepin, a unique and potent chemical compound which may influence hormone health. Our Cordyceps grows under nature-identical conditions to provide a similar nutritional profile to wild mushrooms. Finally, we add Maitake to this enhancing mushroom cocktail. Used medicinally in China and Japan for thousands of years, Maitake is known as the ‘dancing mushroom’. Rich in antioxidants and beta glucans, it is traditionally known to support the body’s defences in demanding times.
